After a long vacation, I finally decided to get back in shape.
First thing first, I decided that I must start right now, make it a goal and work on achieving it.
There are several things that are helping me during my fitness journey.
I visited dings.app and saw Fitti game that suggests helpful tasks and encourages me to stay fit by winning points and challenging my friends.
One of the tasks was going to the gym. But due to the lockdown in my country, I had to exercise in my house.
Here is my workout routine:
1. Bodyweight squats: 20 reps
2. Push-ups: 10 reps
3. Walking lunges: 10 each leg
4. Dumbbell rows (using a gallon milk jug or another weight): 10 each arm.
5. Plank: 15 seconds
6. Jumping jacks: 30 reps
I schedule my workouts in my calendar and treat them as a gym workout.
And of course, I never forget to play good music in the background.
In addition to working out, I drink everyday 3liters of water. Every two hours I drink a small bottle until they are 3liters. But I know people who cannot drink water alone, so if you are one of those you can add lemon or ginger or mint to your water or any other healthy flavor that you like.
I always think that working out at home is not as effective as going to the gym. But in fact, I was wrong and proved to myself that I can achieve my goal either at home or at the gym.
